We're in the Final!!!

My latest crush, Cristiano Ronaldo, with the first goal in the game. Portugal wins 2-1 against Holland and is in the Final this Sunday!

In true dual-citizen form, I watched the game decked out in my Portual kit, whilst baking a cake for my Canada Day Picnic.

So how did I spend last Friday night at work?

Stuck in a freight elevator. Yep...midnight Friday we had to call Tino, a large Italian elevator repairman, to rescue come me from the confines of the elevator.

After the most amazing game ever, Portugal is off to the semi finals! A heart breaker for England, for sure....no one deserves to lose in Penalties in the Quarter Fianl. That's just evil. Can't recap whole game here, just too much went on. Suffice it to say it's the most exciting and well played game I've watched in a while.

Next game against Holland or Sweden, Wednesday at 1130 PDT. Catch it on TSN.
