This pretty much summarizes my Tuesday

Boss: I have good news and bad news for you.
Me: Uhoh
Boss: The bad news is because you're technically on contract, you don't qualify for the upcoming courses.
Me: Darn. What's the good news.
Boss: Actually, I don't have any good news. I'll have to owe you.

Have the men play in speedos, then.......

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has just suggested that women footballers change their uniforms and start playing in tighter shorts, to help with marketing the sport. "Let the women play in more feminine clothes like they do in volleyball. They could, for example, have tighter shorts."

Why stop there, Sepp? Why not fill the pitch with mud and have them wrestle for the win?

It's cold outside...

Weekend was good. Friday was fun...dinner with Boy at Tsunami Sushi downtown. First time I've been there...your food goes by on little boats and you just pick up what you want. That is so cool! A constant marinary conveyor belt of choice. Yum.

Good turnout for Red Dwarf Marathon Saturday. Will have to repeat when series III and IV come out for Region 1 next month.

Knitting with Maria & Ang and Shopping with mom on Sunday. Didn't get much done at either, but Sundays are lazy days anyways. Anything you get done at all is a bonus.

Back to work today. Sigh.

Snow + Side Road + Cars that think they are snow-worthy = Ice
Ice+hill+digging in bag for keys = Tailbone pain.

Who can think of a title in this weather?

-10C??? Since when does Vancouver go to -10? That's the kind of temperatures you're supposed to get in cities like Winnipeg, Edmonton, Ft St James. Not good old civilized Vancouver weather. Brrr. I wonder if anyone at work would notice if I walked around in my fuzzy leopard slippers, wrapped in a fleece blankie and earmuffs?

In other news, I'm working on getting a photo gallery up. Well, actually I have got that working. I just don't have it configured to be viewable from outside my network. If anyone is running Apache2 on a windows box, and has it working properly, could you let me know what you did?
